Visual Line Plan, SS26

As part of my role at Goorin, I’ve created three comprehensive Visual Line Plan’s for SS25, FW25, and SS26 using branding guidelines. This VLP guides our team, internal and external collaborators through our product storylines. Our VLP is a roadmap, outlining color palettes, layout structures, and CAD’s to ensure consistency and alignment throughout every collection. By presenting a clear, organized visual strategy, I facilitated smoother communication among designers and other departments, ensuring that everyone was aligned with the visual direction.

This is important not only because brands need to have a visual identity, but also because having one within a department helps create a stronger, more confident team.

Technical Illustration

At Goorin, I created detailed technical illustrations for our trucker hats, ensuring clarity and precision in the design-to-production process. These illustrations serve as essential blueprints for manufacturers, providing accurate specifications, stitch details, fabric placements, and construction details. This was a collaborative project with all of the designers, Each of their input was needed in order to gain insight about what should improve with the new illustration.

The old trucker CAD didn’t look visually right. The line weights were different, the dimensions of the front panel and top brim were a bit disproportional. Now there is one line weight for the outside illustration and one line weight for the stitching. This not only shows my expertise in vector-based illustration and understanding of Illustrator, but my ability to be detail-oriented when it comes to creating grapics for internal and external use.

I have provided a more accurate, updated CAD for all designers to use to standardize the visual feel of our seasonal product lines.
