Packaging Design

For fictitious folk singer Donna Bean, I designed an album cover and vinyl packaging that visually captures the essence of her music—organic, soulful, and deeply personal. The album itself is about the longing for connection while in a relationship that likely isn’t going to work out. Being with someone that doesn’t feel the same about you--like waiting for the flowers you kept asking for.

Drawing inspiration from her storytelling and acoustic sound, I crafted a design that blends hand-rendered textures, warm color palettes, and country-inspired typography. I drew inspiration from 60’s and 70’s folk color palettes as well as selected photography that felt vintage but modern at the same time.

This project highlights my ability to translate sound into visuals, using composition, illustration, and typography to create a tactile, immersive experience. From cover art to label design, every detail was thoughtfully considered to reflect the mood and narrative of the album.
